Jim Jones Works at Rackspace

My favorite quote for today came late in the day during a conference call with both my sales representative at Rackspace and an accounting specialist. I had earlier pointed out something that looked like a discrepancy in an invoice, and the accounting specialist later called my sales rep and proactively conferenced me in to make sure I was happy, at least until tomorrow. I pointed out that I’d always had positive customer service experiences with Rackspace, and at that point I was thinking they lived by the philosophy of “never let a customer go to bed unhappy.” Right about then the sales rep cleared things up with “Well, we’ve all drunk the Kool-Aid here at Rackspace.”

Quite true. They’re very committed… to great customer service.
